We're constantly adding new VIN Patterns to our database. We use these guides to automatically detect and decode any given VIN. That's why you don't have to specify which model your VIN is associated with; our decoder figures this out by comparing your VIN to our database of patterns. When it finds a match it can then figure out what car you're looking for.
